The Southwest Papua government conducted a study visit to Rinjani Geopark in NTB to learn governance, management, and community engagement practices as part of efforts to develop globally recognized geopark systems.

NTB Governor Lalu Muhammad Iqbal inaugurated the Rinjani Geopark Information Center in Sembalun, aiming to drive local economic growth, support MSMEs, and strengthen community-based development across the Rinjani area.

Rinjani-Lombok Geopark retained its UNESCO Global Geopark status, earning a second Green Card for excellence in conservation, education, and community development, while reinforcing its global standing and future sustainability commitments.
